They retire and they start to wander!

Dave and I have spent the last 8 months dreaming of taking this trip. A trip of a lifetime! We had so many places in common that we both wanted to visit and people to see. So many days talking about the places we wanted to go, stops we wanted to make. We spent many nights the last few months mapping out all the details down to milage and roads we want to travel, planning dates to be with family and fiend for special times and birthdays. It has become a 6775 mile road trip over 9 weeks!

We will be travelling in Poppy my new car pulling our 24 ft travel trailer. The last month we have spent time getting it loaded and ready for the trip. We were blessed with most of the things we needed by combining the Colorado house and the AZ house. Yes we have Tupperware to spare! Dave has worked hard getting a generator mounted on the front of the trailer so we can camp wherever we need to! (ok and so i don't melt in the south with no AC) We are taking a test trip Monday to make sure everything is in tip top shape. Its nearly new and hardly used.

We are hoping to update this blog on a regular basis. Of course WIFI and time will play a factor. We will share the fun and challenges and we can all laugh together. Hope you can enjoy our trip with us!
