We had a complete us day. Slept in had a big breakfast at 11:30. I cleaned and swept and mopped while Dave got more beauty sleep. How can things be do dusty when it is so humid.??? Wiped down all the cabinets and did some hand scrubbing on the floor.

I also woke up with a huge mountain looking bump on my right knee. I just can't seem to be normal in the things that happen to me. The good news is no pain with it.

Sat out on the sun by the beach . It was hot. We came in cooked off and went back out. We both read our books. Came on listened to some music 🎵 🎵. We got laundry ready and took it over to the nice laundry room here at HoHum. Gotta say, cleaner, nicer, cheaper than the commercial laundry mat we used in Texas.

We've met lots of nice neighbors here in the park. It fun to walk around and see the campers and how they set things up. We watched our neighbors put little blow up wheels on a pretty good size inflattable dingy with a motor and use a battery operated trailer puller. Pretty slick. They had gone to Dog Island, took a picnic and back.

We learned that Dog Island was used in WWII for training and amphibious exercise and targeting fury airplanes.

No roads in or out. There is a ferry on the weekend. No provisions available on the island. There are a few permanent residents. They do have a volunteer fire department.

Dave grilled pork chops, we had salad and green beans. We both love coconut Cream pie, one fell in the cart yesterday at the store. It would be a shame to waste it.

We sat out alot today, there was a nice breeze. The Yellow Flies, yes yellow chased us in tonight.

I've learned that bug spray is a way of life here. You know me, I'm allergic to everything. Have my prescription bug bite cream with me.

I thought I'd be out of lotion by now, as I only brought a small bottle. I have not used in weeks. I'll take the dry desert back!.

I had read on some camping sites that you need to keep the camper dry. They suggested Damp Rid. I hung them up last Sunday. They clearly say on the box lasts up to 60 days. Great we will be home by then. At the rate they are collecting water I'll be changing them out on Sunday.

I worked on some crochet this afternoon. Dave cought up on Georgia Bulldogs football 🏈. Quiet night tonight.

Hope to go explore the area tomorrow..
