Well it has been several busy and fun days. We are still in Colorado at Kristina's. Sure nice to have a place to stay and be plugged in right here at the farm..
Tuesday found us doing laundry, and we headed to the commissary for some things we needed for fourth of July. Of course we had to stop at Costco. We came home and did some cooking. We had a nice dinner with our friends Roxine and Travis at their home. and enjoyed sitting out on the back deck.
Wendsday was a busy day. A few more errands. Dave was in hog heaven riding the John Deere mower. He got more than half of the back 5 acres done. He got a little sun, and was pretty tired. Kristina and Nate worked on getting the new railing on the back deck. We had our traditional Korean dinner that night. This is Kristina's birthday request each year. We were a bit late but we got it done.. Bulgogi, cucumber kimchi, Korean Nachos, rice, etc. so yummy.. we were all tired we kinda just hung around outside. Kristina put the first coat on the deck that she and Nate have been building.
4th of July was great. Dave finished his mowing. Man it sure looks nice. He loved it he has got a really good start on a farmer tan. We had to take the trailer over to KOA to dump the shitter. Nice new one here in falcon.
We cooked all day. Nate smoked a brisket and pork butt. Both were very good. I made my coleslaw and baked beans. We had tons of food. Great company, Margy and Dennis came over and Alex's friend Brooke and her family and our family friend Frank. We had a great group..some corn hole and Jenga happened. We laughed and waited for the Nass private fire work show right here on the driveway. It gets bigger and longer every year. We had little preshow with the smoke bombs and sparklers. All the neighbors sat out on their porches. We were in the driveway.
Once it finally got dark we had one hell of a show!. They had gone to Wyoming and purchased the big boy stuff. They shot stuff off for nearly an hour..it was amazing front row seat. We got rained on from the debris..of course we had to watch any embers that came down. A great night was had by all. They truly outdid themselves.. we ended it all with fried ice cream and the kids did a bonfire..
We were all super tired the next day.. Kristina and I went to a
A farmers market. Then off to lunch with my guild friends. 10 of us. Pies and Grinders in the Forrest. It was very good. Nice to catch up with my friends.
Dave got his custom Dawgs sign as a surprise gift. He loved it B kiy the time we got home we both needed a nap. That happened. Dave read another book. It was a lay low day.
My nephew and his family came to visit and pick up a few things. We had a short but great visit. I went by old house. Brody has it looking great. He has added solar and been working on the back yard.
Saw a neighbor and caught up..had to get my car washed from all the dust and fireworks. We had some left overs and called it a day. In bed by 9:30!
It sure has been nice being here. I miss my friends but know for sure I made the right choice to move. It is growing so much. I was in Walmart for a few things, omg I just can't do the unfriendly self centered people. The little town of Falcon has sure changed.
I went to see Brody who bought my house. He has done a great job trimming trees and getting the house in order. Makes me happy to see him there.
Being with my kiddos Alex and Nate has been amazing. Still picking on me and giving me the business..
Mike and Kristina, we can not thank you enough for having us. We have our own space and hopefully have stayed out of your hair. Dave has gotten his dog fix. 5 bundles of love greet you every time!
The weather has been beautiful. In the 70's day time, No AC needed. We feel blessed to be part of the family. Thank you.

Great pictures. Love Dave’s sign. Hopefully the birds us it as target practice!! Haha! Safe travels on your last leg of this journey!
