Here we are starting week 8!

Oh my where hafs the time gone. We have had such a great time seeing the beautiful states and visiting family and friends. Can't believe we only have 2 weeks left.

We left Lamar after an overnight thunderstorm and rain. Only one Dollar General.

Farm gilds of hay and cattle most of the way. Hwy 94 was the worst road of the trip. Rough, narrow, boring, and absolutely no services. We saw very little traffic. Nice to visit Falcon again. But sure don't miss it.

We are in Springs area staying in the camper at Kristina and Mike's. So nice to be with family. The kids are giving Aunt Bobbi a run for her money.

The weather is cool and crisp at night. We had a spectacular thunderstorm and lightning show last night. We had to get up at midnight and close the window to keep the rain out Had a great laid back family dinner. Played Phase 10. Yep I was the looser. Mike didn't even cheat too bad. Kristina won Dave second.

Dave got his dog fix. They have three dogs and 2 puppies. Dave is in heaven. They are fun and pretty good dogs.

We got up early this morning to get the camper to the RV repair. I had called last Friday to see if we could get in. They were kind enough to get us in today. We have had battery problems since last Monday. We had an amazing experience. They were prepared to have us overnight if needed..they got to work and trouble shooting right away. Long story short we had a bad wire to the main panel that did not allow the battery to recharge. Thus the fridge was having a hard time staying up to temp. We tried to eat everything we could oyn the fridge as soon as we knew. Oddly enough the freezer stayed cold. We also had a GFI plug not working since we bought the camper. PHX dealer could not see us til August. So we just worked around it. All things are fixed! We were on our way back to the farm before noon. We feel very blessed that it all worked out.

We got the camper all set up again and plugged into the 50 amp plug they have. The AC works and we are with family.

Dave had a great afternoon in the sun with cloud cover to keep it cooler. Nice day to relax and read on your folding rocking chair.

Kristina and I went to the commissary. Picked up a few things I needed and got all the fixings for her annual Korean 🎂 birthday dinner. A month late! Bulgogi and Korean Nachos going down on Wednesday!

We had an afternoon of laundry, dogs and sitting on the back porch . Nice to just relax.

We had a great pork chop dinner. We laughed and told stories. Such a great dinner.

We are both tired tonight. We will be headed to bed soon. It's cool already Tonight. We have the windows open, the fan going and are nice and Cool. l even had to cover up with a blanket.
