Well we left cool, green colorful Colorado today. We drove through Durango and then the Indian reservations . Let me just say the worst roads of the trip. Bumps in the road so big we thought we were on a roller coaster. Never again. It was a very stressful day of driving. We drove through farms and then hit sage brush and rocks. Real reality check that we were no longer north.

While we both love the desert we got smacked in the face with 100 degree hot dry air. It was not horrible just a big change. Some of the drive was pretty others boring. We did see several big plants for oil and flour on the reservation.

I 40, what can you say? Beat to death with all the traffic from the semi trucks. But then that was better than the reservation roads. We made it to Holbrook AZ. We are in a nice campground. AC back on!.

We hada BLT for lunch followed by a nap. The drive really took it out of us.

We made pierogi for dinner and started the Skipbo contest.

We will take a couple days to get home and enjoy AZ.
