Holy wind! I sure do not miss the constant wind in Colorado! It has been non stop for three days. Think it's my memory from childhood growing up in Boulder and the wind.,.blow the roof off, blow your house apart wind that I remember. Just not my thing.
It's been cool in the 60's and 70's with wind chill. So needless to say Dave is still wearing jeans and long sleeve shirts. I had to break out the sweatshirt and capris.
We have had a great week helping around the farm. Dave got to mow the grass, and help Kristina plant flowers. You can't plant anything here until after mother's day, then it's iffy you might have to cover it for hail or cold! Always a crap shoot.
I'm telling you, this does not feel like home anymore.
So much growth, not the small town feel. Every one's in a hurry and rude. Apartments everywhere. Food us expensive.
Glad to be with family and friends. But I will be happy to call AZ home.
It's been great having our little home on wheels and the ability to plug in and have water. Dave used our porta potty dumper to empty the camper. Not to bad. Nice to shower without worries.
Georgia is in dog heaven..5 doodles to play with...in out, run the 8 acres. She has a couple cats to check out, the goats cow and pig. She is not sure about the turkey and and wants to run with the chickens. She's one tired girl each night. She's been really pretty good.
Dale and Mary have arrived ( Alex and Nate's God parents). We had a nice afternoon catching up. Happy to hear they are retiring next year and moving to AZ. We all went out to dinner and in true Nass fashion it was entertaining and loud!
We have enjoyed seeing the kids friends at the house and having fun.
Friday is graduation Day!
So let the celebrating begin.
