5/11/25 Mother's day

It was a beautiful warm day here in Colorado. We are still at the Mass farm enjoying family 😃

We had a surprise gift so perfect for mother's day. A baby goat. The mom had been with the stuff three years, and finally a baby. Billy the kid is super cute with long ears. Nice early morning surprise. We spent time together, worked in the yard. Dave got to ride the riding mower. It's neat to see the transformation as spring gets in full swing here. The grass is greener and the trees are sprouting new leaves. The weather held off as we watched 4-5 storms if dark gray clouds move around us.

We had to run a few errands and spotted the bald eagle. Beautiful. He just sat there and watched us. Nature at its best.

We finished with a family meal of Ham, mashed potatoes, green beans and home made rolls. Nothing better than Sunday family meals. I sure do miss those and I'm going to take advantage of every one I get this summer.

Georgia is having a blast back with her tribe. She is one tired dog each night.
